Canada Super Visa
The Super Visa is a special visa designed for parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens or permanent residents, allowing them to visit and stay in Canada for extended periods. Unlike a regular visitor visa, which typically permits stays of up to six months, the Super Visa allows eligible individuals to remain in Canada for up to five years at a time without needing to renew their status.
Key Features of the Super Visa
- Extended Stay: Stay in Canada for up to five years per entry, with the possibility of further extensions.
- Multiple Entries: The visa is valid for up to 10 years, allowing for multiple entries during this period.
- Streamlined Family Visits: Specifically for parents and grandparents, providing an easier way to reunite with family members.
- Medical Insurance Requirement: Applicants must have private health insurance coverage in Canada, ensuring they can access medical services during their stay.
